Matthew 11:28-30

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Answer & Reflection

The Lord Jesus declares His character, He is gentle and lowly in heart! You can read more in our previous question: What did God proclaim in Exodus 34?

Because of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross, we can come to Him and find rest and peace! Because of His amazing grace, we can repent and be forgiven and saved! His love sustains us! We can trust in Him!
